Gettysburg By The Numbers-Website that showcases the number of soldiers and civilians killed during Gettysburg.
History Channel-Website that is based on the popular tv channel. Really helpful speech archives of various historical speeches. "This Day in History" is also useful to get students used to daily history lessons that are short to digest and spark interest.
Smithsonian Education-Great website for both parents, teachers, and students. The students are able to explore the site and learn about all the different things available at the Smithsonian for students. The “Secrets of the Smithsonian” section is especially interesting.
